In an effort to manage the water level on Lake Mendota, the flow of water through the Tenney dam has been increased. This will lead to rising water levels on the isthmus that will result in ponding on roadways and possible lane or road closures. Water levels and lane closures are expected to be similar to last week, city officials said today.

Roads that are expected to be impacted include:

• East Washington Avenue- possible lane closures, we expect to keep two lanes open in each direction
• North First Street- possible lane closures, we expect to keep one lane open in each direction
• North Livingston Street.-closed between East Washington Avenue and East Dayton Street
• Still closed: East Johnson Street is closed between North Baldwin Street and Fordem Avenue
