Clean Water for the Children of Gaza fundraiser will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 7-9 p.m. at First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Drive.
The fundraiser will provide a Maia Project water purification system to kids in Rafah, Gaza Strip, Palestine. The fundraising event will feature music by Beat Road, a project presentation, light refreshments and remarks by United States Congressman Mark Pocan. Free & open to public; donations gratefully accepted. Sponsored by Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, First Unitarian Society, Jewish Voice for Peace-Madison, Madison-Rafah Sister City Project, WORT Radio and many others.
