This has been one of the more exciting Madison mayoral races in recent memory as incumbent Mayor Paul Soglin faces a challenge from Mo Cheeks, vice president of business development at MioSoft Corporation and an alder on Madison’s west side; Satya Rhodes-Conway, the managing director of the Mayors Innovation Project at the Center on Wisconsin Strategy and former east side alder; Raj Shukla, the executive director of The River Alliance of Wisconsin; Toriana Pettaway, Madison’s racial equity coordinator; and comedian Nick Hart.
