The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC) board of directors has announced the appointment of Dr. Diamond D. Williams as executive director of WAPC.
“Dr. Williams brings a powerful combination of visionary leadership, strategic partnership development, and deep commitment to advancing maternal and infant health outcomes across Wisconsin,” Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care said in a press release. “Her professional experience, collaborative leadership style, and dedication to equity-centered systems change make her exceptionally well-positioned to lead WAPC into its next chapter.”
Throughout the search process, Dr. Williams demonstrated a strong understanding of Wisconsin’s perinatal landscape and a clear commitment to strengthening partnerships across clinical systems, public health, community organizations, and families, the press release said. Her leadership reflects WAPC’s mission to improve the health and well-being of mothers, infants, children, and families through education, collaboration, and advocacy.
Williams’ first day will be Monday, June 1.
