Join us at 100state for a night of discussion and collaboration.
Our November event seeks to address issues of equity in Madison’s emerging young nonprofit leadership sector. YNPN plans to create a space for conversation where community advocates from various nonprofit organizations can address the following concerns:
– Why is diversity especially important in the nonprofit sector?
– What steps can young professionals take to create a more equitable environment in their own workplaces, networks, and social circles?
– What are the potential concerns of racial and economic disparity between those who provide and receive services?
Following initial comments, the group will break into roundtable discussions where attendees may workshop together and collaborate on strategies with each panelist. Sharing ideas to address potential pitfalls, resources and best practices will be encouraged.
