Farley Center Presents “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” Documentary

Linda & Gene Farley Center for Peace, Justice, and Sustainability, 2299 Rose Rd, Verona, will presents “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” documentary Saturday, April 8, 1-3 p.m.

The Farley Center will have a showing of Intentionally Welcoming Communities documentary ‘Walk a Mile in Their Shoes’ produced by Justice and Justice Productions. Walk a Mile in Their Shoes explores the lives of five marginalized individuals who tell their story in hopes of dispelling stereotypes and revealing our commonalities.

Engage with the producers, Johnny and Marie, in a Q&A session following the screening. Johnny and Marie Justice, are both Farley Center Board Members.

Intentionally Welcoming Community is a public service program of the non-profit Design Coalition Institute. The idea of “Intentionally Welcoming” is grounded in a research-based approach to healthy communities and wellness. They challenge themselves to address tensions between and within varying identity groups both nationally and locally.

Light refreshments will be served.

Suggested donation of $10, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
