USL League One announced its 2022 schedule today, a slate of 30 games for each club from early April through mid-October.
Forward Madison will get its earliest-ever home game, hosting league champions Union Omaha on April 9. The club will have another busy August, with six matches in a 24-day span — and four in 11 days.
The eleven-team league has three new additions — Fuego FC out of Fresno, CA; Northern Colorado Hailstorm and Charlotte Independence, joining from USL Championship. Four MLS-owned developmental teams — North Texas FC, New England Revs 2, Toronto FC 2 and Fort Lauderdale CF — are moving out of USL League One into the new MLS Next Pro.
