Forward Madison FC has signed defender/midfielder Collin McCamy for the 2026 season, pending league and federation approval.

McCamy, 22, joins the club after spending the 2025 season with NYCFC II, where he started 22 matches, appeared in 25 overall and logged 1,943 minutes. He scored one goal and was part of three clean sheets during his time with the MLS Next Pro side.

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, McCamy played four collegiate seasons at Northwestern University, making 67 appearances for the Wildcats with four goals and seven assists. He was a three-time All–Big Ten selection, including a Second Team honor following his senior season. During his college career, he also played in USL League Two with Chicago FC United in 2022 and RKC Third Coast in 2024.

McCamy made his professional debut in 2021 on an academy contract with North Carolina FC, appearing briefly in a USL League One match in May 2021 at Breese Stevens Field. After completing his collegiate career, he was selected in the second round (54th overall) of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft by New York City FC and subsequently loaned to NYCFC II.

Forward Madison Sporting Director Matt Cairns cited McCamy’s versatility and leadership as key factors in the signing, while Head Coach and Technical Director Matt Glaeser highlighted his physical presence and positional flexibility.

McCamy said he is excited to join the Madison community and return to Breese Stevens Field. He is expected to compete for minutes in both defense and midfield as the club continues to reshape its roster ahead of the 2026 USL League One season.

Forward Madison’s 2026 season gets underway March 14 at Knoxville, and the first home match is set for May 16 as the Mingos host Detroit City in the opening round of the USL Cup.
