Forward Madison adds former FC Dallas midfielder Herbert Endeley

Forward Madison FC has signed versatile midfielder and forward Herbert Endeley for the remainder of the 2026 season. Endeley joins the Mingos after a college career at Indiana University and professional experience with FC Dallas in Major League Soccer.

“He’s played some games in MLS, played MLS Next Pro, and had a period on loan with the Colorado Switchbacks. He can play wingback and he can also play in the front three, so he can cover multiple positions,” Forward Madison Sporting Director Matt Cairns said in an interview on the 608 Soccer Show.

A Blaine, Minnesota, native, Endeley starred at Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, where he recorded 77 goals and 26 assists in 74 matches. He was named Minnesota’s “Mr. Soccer” and the Minneapolis Star Tribune Player of the Year for the 2018-19 season.

Endeley played four seasons at Indiana University beginning in 2019, tallying 12 goals and 17 assists for 41 points across 84 matches. The Hoosiers won two Big Ten regular-season championships and two Big Ten Tournament titles during his time with the program.

FC Dallas selected Endeley with the 24th overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft. He made his MLS debut in May 2023 against San Jose and earned his first career start against Nashville the following week. The 5-foot-10 forward scored two goals and added four assists on loan with North Texas SC in 2024, helping the club win the MLS NEXT Pro Cup and earning MVP honors after recording two assists in the championship match.

The Mingos return to action against Spokane Velocity in an away match on Wednesday, July 1.
