Forward Madison FC announces first ever nationally televised match

Forward Madison FC, Madison’s professional soccer team, will be broadcast nationally for the first time in club history on ESPN2 when they take on South Georgia Tormenta FC at Breese Stevens Field on Saturday, June 15.  

“As we mark a historic milestone in Forward Madison’s journey, the announcement of our match being broadcasted on ESPN2 fills us with immense pride,” said Forward Madison COO Conor Caloia in a press release. “This moment signifies not only the growth and recognition of our Club, but also the passion and dedication of our amazing fans. We are thrilled to showcase our match day atmosphere in Madison on a national stage. It’s a testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone involved, and we’re excited to share this special moment with fans across the country.” 

The match time has been moved to 2 p.m. from its originally scheduled time of 7 p.m. The club will host a Family Night filled with tailgating opportunities, a petting farm, and other kid-friendly activities at the match. Families can purchase tickets to the match with the affordable MG&E Family Special which includes a ticket, a meal, and a scarf for $25 per ticket.
