This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Indigenous Biz Con V will mark five years of connection, collaboration and Indigenous business leadership at a three-day conference at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee Oct. 11-13.
Hosted by Indigenous Business Group, this year’s conference, themed “Indigenous Renaissance,” will convene Tribal leaders, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, innovators, government agencies, investors and Indigenous-owned businesses to explore new opportunities for growth, collaboration and generational wealth. The gathering will focus on strengthening Native-owned businesses and building partnerships with government and corporate leaders that can create long-term economic opportunities for Indigenous communities.
“As the theme suggests, we’re at a pivotal moment in history in which Indigenous businesses are uniquely poised for growth and revival,” said Indigenous Business Group co-founder Rob Pero, a member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. “This event creates space for us to share knowledge, build relationships and create the opportunities that will define the next generation of Indigenous business leadership.”
