The Wisconsin Union Theater will host The Jones Family Singers in Shannon Hall on Friday, April 29, 8 p.m.
The Jones Family Singers consists of five sisters, two brothers and their father, Bishop Fred A. Jones. The Wall Street Journal described them as “Modern practitioners of a long musical tradition … infusing their joyful, reverent songs with elements of vintage soul and R&B.”

It is gospel music – but fans of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and Vintage Trouble will also find a hip shaking and spiritually uplifting workout at the core.
This performance is presented by the Wisconsin Union Theater’s Performing Arts Committee and supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
