Incumbent Julia Arata-Fratta easily won another term as mayor in Fitchburg on Tuesday night, garnering 72.5 percent of the vote as she defeated challenger Victoria Labrosse.
The final vote tally was 7,162 to 2,693. Arata-Fratta was first elected Mayor of Fitchburg in April 2023.
In other Fitchbur adler races decided on Tuesday, incumbent Donald Dantzler Jr. defeated challenger Jay Allen, 1,591-994 for District 3, Seat 6, and incumbent Jake Lepper defeated challenger Adam Gille, 1,849-706, for District 4, Seat 8.
“This victory reflects the power of community — every volunteer, supporter, and neighbor who believed in a shared vision for a stronger, more connected future. I am incredibly grateful for each of you,” Dantzler said in a social media post after his victory. “This win belongs to all of us.”
