There will be a JUSTICE4TONY reception at MMoCA Gallery Night Friday, May 6, 5-9 p.m., at the Jackie Macaulay Gallery at the Social Justice Center, 1202 Williamson St.
Join #JUSTICE4TONY, the family and friends of Tony Robinson, on the 14-month anniversary of his death for an intimate photographic art show documenting how we coped during the first year without Tony in our community. Tony was unarmed when he was killed by a Madison police officer on the night of March 6, 2015. Images were captured between March 6, 2015 and March 6, 2016 by local photographer Leslie Amsterdam Peterson, a family friend. Refreshments will be served. The show runs from March 6-May 31.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-6 pm daily at the Social Justice Center.
