Vice President Kamala Harris will be making her first presidential campaign stop in Eau Claire, Wis., on Wednesday, Aug. 7. It will be her sixth visit for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee to the state of Wisconsin this year.
The Grammy-winning indie group Bon Iver, led by Eau Claire-born-and-based singer-songwriter Justin Vernon, will perform at the vice president’s rally.
The Harris campaign confirmed Monday that her newly selected running mate will accompany her to Eau Claire. Organizers have not yet disclosed the exact location of the event.
