From our content partner Channel3000:

Several reporters on Twitter are saying Wednesday afternoon that former Wisconsin Badgers guard Kobe King has committed to Nebraska.

King announced his intent to transfer on Jan. 29 on Instagram.

In the post he wrote, “You guys have always supported me through frustrating times, and you guys will forever be [a part] of my family.”

The redshirt-sophomore from La Crosse missed much of his freshman season in 2017-18 with a knee injury, but played 34 games last season and averaged 4.2 points per game.

He may be required to sit out the 2020-21 season, unless granted a waiver by the NCAA.

Wisconsin returns to the court Thursday night at No. 19 Michigan.
