Kwanzaa, Crafting for Families will be hosted by The Progress Center for Black Women, 5936 Seminole Centre Court, Fitchburg, on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Imani means “to believe with all our heart in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.” That’s the heart of the Progress Center for Black Women, having faith that we (Black people) can restore each other. So on January 1st, families can stop by between 11am and 2pm to take part in craft-making and leave with something that best represents their own unique families.
