Thanks to the joint forces of the Riverside and the BMO Harris Bradley Center, Louis C.K. – arguably one of the best comedians working right now – will return to Milwaukee for a stop on his current comedy tour.
The “Louie” and “Horace and Pete” mastermind will perform at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Monday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m.
C.K. has always been a fairly beloved figure in the world of comedy, but over the last several years, the comedian blown up into a superstar. His TV shows “Louis” and “Horace & Pete,” as well as appearances on “Parks and Recreation,” have earned raves from fans and critics alike, landing him several award nominations and a few hosting gigs on “Saturday Night Live” in the process. Meanwhile, on the movie side of things, he’s popped up in films ranging from Oscar nominees (“Blue Jasmine,” “American Hustle,” “Trumbo”) to the upcoming summer animated blockbuster “The Secret Life of Pets,” where he lends his voice to one of the lead dogs.
He’s certainly no stranger to Milwaukee, either. He previously performed at The Pabst Theater in 2008 and 2009, the latter of which was actually recorded and used for his concert film and award-winning comedy album “Hilarious.” He then returned to Milwaukee in 2012 with a performance at the Riverside, and now, he’s back again.
