Madison College is inviting Native artists to submit work for its 2026 Native November Art Show, Indigenous Wisconsin: Beyond Acknowledgement, on display Nov. 9 through Dec. 11.
The exhibition will explore what comes after a land acknowledgment, focusing on the relationships, responsibilities and connections that follow recognition of Indigenous lands.
The show will feature Indigenous artists whose work reflects reciprocal relationships with Wisconsin’s lands and waters through material, memory, language, story and practice.
Artists are encouraged to submit work addressing Indigenous relationships with land, water, place, memory, language, community or continuity. Exhibition capacity is limited, and submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The submission deadline is Oct. 9. Artists can apply through the Indigenous Wisconsin submission form.
