Madison College will host a unique opportunity to learn about and appreciate the vibrant Hmong culture of Madison and beyond at the 3rd annual Hmong New Year Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 2, noon–4 p.m. at the Madison College Truax Campus in the Gateway.
Madison College will host a day of free educational and cultural experiences, including interactive activities and community resources where community members can learn about the Hmong community. The annual event will also feature an enlightening exhibit “Los Tsev” and a captivating performance showcase.
“As we celebrate the Hmong New Year, it’s important to recognize that this festive event is taking place worldwide, linking Hmong communities globally. Join us in honoring the spirit of the Hmong New Year, adding to a deep sense of community and shared experience that goes beyond Madison and its nearby areas,” said Masaya Xiong, the Hmong & Southeast Asians Community Liaison for Madison College, in a statement.
