Live music, dozens and dozens of vendors, along with special visiting food carts and pop-up restaurants, will be featured at Madison’s Central Business Improvement District’s Madison Night Market on Thursday, Sept. 14, 5-9 p.m.

“The Madison Night Market is an incredible venue to connect and celebrate our downtown community together,” said Matt Tramel, executive director of the Madison Central Business Improvement District (BID), in a press release. “State Street is the ultimate expression of our downtown, and we have another night of eclectic live entertainment and family-friendly activities that everyone can enjoy. Come down to shop, dine and immerse yourself in everything that makes Madison such a unique place to live, work and play.”

Performers at the Peace Park Music Stage, 452 State St., will include Tani Diakite and the Afrofunkstars and Juancito en su Salsa. Beni Daiko – Madison Japanese Taiko Drumming will be the featured performer at ‘The Forum’ at 100 State St.

This year’s featured art for the Madison Night Market was created by local artist Xizhou Xie, a regular Madison Night Market vendor for the past few years. Her booth is located near the Overture Center at each market and her artwork can be viewed in person at the Xizhou Xie Art Gallery on Madison’s West Side.

A complete map of participating businesses and vendor locations can be found at www.madisonnightmarket.com.
