Madison USL Women’s teams adds forward Addison Werth

USL W League Madison has signed Addison Werth, a forward from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and standout alum of Oregon High School, ahead of the club’s inaugural 2026 season.

Werth scored 59 goals and tallied 56 assists during her high school career and previously had a breakout 2021 season with the U16 Madison 56ers Red National Team and the Midwest Olympic Development Program, recording 45 goals and 28 assists. She played in three consecutive WIAA Division 2 state championship matches with Oregon, serving as team captain for two years and earning multiple all-state and all-conference honors. She also helped the Madison 56ers win several league titles and the 2024 State Cup.

USL W League Madison Technical Director Liz Lawrence said Werth brings “a truly dynamic presence,” citing her speed and athleticism. Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero said Werth is effective in wide areas and provides “quality, threatening service into the box.”

Werth, who continues her collegiate career at UW–Milwaukee, said she is “grateful and excited” for the opportunity to play in her hometown and contribute to building a strong women’s soccer culture in Madison.

The team will officially launch its name, crest and colors on Friday night at the Sylvee.
