SistaStrings, a Milwaukee-based sister duo who combine years of gospel singing with their classical music training & R&B influences culminating in a vibey, lush sound with thick string harmonies between violin and cello and soulful voices, will make an appearance on national television tonight accompanying artist Allison Russell on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
Monique and Chauntee Ross are classically trained artists who are about creating social change through their gifts of music. Many Madisonians remember SistaStrings performance at the 40th annual State of Wisconsin Tribute and Ceremony honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Jan. 20, 2020, at the Wisconsin State Capitol.
