Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley to address graduates, receive degree at UW-Milwaukee commencement Sunday

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley will address graduating students of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Sunday, Dec. 15 as UW-Milwaukee awards more than 1,700 degrees at commencement.

Crowley, who has been the Milwaukee County executive since 2020 when he became the youngest county executive in Milwaukee County history as well as the first Black leader elected to the position, will also graduate at this ceremony from the UWM School of Education earning a bachelor’s degree in community engagement and education.

The university will present 1,092 bachelor’s degrees, 492 master’s degrees, 63 doctoral degrees, 75 associate degrees and 73 certificates. The oldest bachelor’s degree recipient is 63, while the youngest is 20. The oldest associate degree recipient is 49; the youngest is 19.

UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is located at 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. in Milwaukee.
