Milwaukee’s SistaStrings could be seen on national television this weekend appearing on “Saturday Night Live” Dec. 10 as they joined Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile’s band, the featured performer on the iconic sketch comedy show.
The show, hosted by SNL comedic legends Steve Martin and Martin Short, aired at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
SistaStrings, made up of Milwaukee-born-and-raised sisters Monique and Chauntee Ross, combine years of gospel singing with their classical music training & R&B influences culminating in a vibey, lush sound with thick string harmonies between violin and cello and soulful voices.
