Mount Mary University in Milwaukee has named Bobbie Kelsey its new head women’s basketball coach and assistant sports information director, athletics director Natalie Batello announced.
Kelsey has more than 20 years of experience in collegiate coaching, professional basketball, athletics administration and sports media. She previously served as head coach at the University of Wisconsin and as an assistant coach with the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks. Most recently, she was commissioner of athletics and academics for Milwaukee Public Schools, overseeing athletics and co-curricular programming for more than 150 schools. She has also worked as a women’s basketball analyst for the Big Ten Network and FOX Sports.
Kelsey graduated from Stanford University and holds a master’s degree from Duquesne University.
