The first-ever Northeast Wisconsin Leadership Summit will take place May 9 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Green Bay, organizers announced today.
The conference, hosted by 365 Media Foundation, is the Northeast Wisconsin region’s premier professional development, networking and community-building event for people of color. It will feature more than a dozen panels on topics from entrepreneurship to health care to education, all tackled by panelists who are all people of color from Northeast Wisconsin.
365 Media Foundation has hosted the statewide 365 Leadership Summit each year since 2018, and the virtual Men’s Leadership Summit and Women’s Leadership Summit each of the last three years. Nearly 700 people attended the 2022 365 Leadership Summit in October, 2022.
“Ever since we hosted the first summit in 2018, I’ve heard from friends and colleagues in Northeast Wisconsin that they needed something of their own, close to home,” said Henry Sanders, CEO of 365 Media Foundation. “This region and its workforce is rapidly becoming more and more diverse, and the talented people of color deserve this space to come together, learn from each other, network and strengthen their community.”
