The Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals (ULGMYP) will be partnering with the Madison Common Council to host “Old Problems, Young Solutions” on Saturday, April 18,10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This event provides a unique opportunity for Madison’s youth to connect directly with Madison City Council members and explore local governance.

Special guests will include Madison alders Regina Vidaver (District 5), Joann Pritchett (District 9), Sabrina Madison (District 17), and John P. Guequierre (District 19), who will participate in an interactive panel designed to enlighten attendees about how the Common Council operates. Participants will gain valuable insights into local government processes and can build meaningful connections with their community leaders.

Council members will be available to discuss the vital role of local governance and provide practical guidance for those interested in public service. The event is a great opportunity for networking and is open to everyone. To RSVP, click here.

The Madison Municipal Building, Room 215, is located at 215 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in downtown Madison.
