Almost 2 million people have signed a petition asking the NBA to redesign its logo in honor of Kobe Bryant, the late basketball legend.
Launched on Change.org, the petition asks that the NBA officially changes its logo to a silhouette of Kobe Bryant. Currently, just over 1.9 million people and counting have signed the petition.
“With the untimely and unexpected passing of the great Kobe Bryant please sign this petition in an attempt to immortalize him forever as the new NBA logo,” says Petition author Nick M.
Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, were among those instantly killed when their helicopter crashed into a hillside in Southern California on Sunday morning.
