Victor Patterson is the new co-CEO and Chief People Officer and Cari Redington is the new co-CEO and Chief Financial Officer of the Overture Center for the Arts, a performing arts center and art gallery in downtown Madison.

Both Patterson and Redington are Wisconsin residents with strong ties to communities across the state, according to a press release from the Overture Center. Redington most recently served as administrator of the Research and Policy Division at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and previously served as county administrator for Vernon County. She is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Patterson, who was born in Milwaukee, spoke at Madison’s Goodman Center’s 2023 Wealth Literacy Conference on career growth to improve personal outcomes and brings extensive experience leading organizational culture and workforce strategy across large, complex organizations. He previously held senior human resources leadership roles with Lowe’s, H.B. Fuller and The Home Depot, where he led workforce planning, succession strategy, leadership development, and organizational transformation initiatives across large regional and global teams.

“We are grateful to the many staff members, board members and community partners who participated in the search process for these two critical roles,” the Executive Leadership Team said in a joint statement. “Their insight helped ensure a thoughtful and collaborative outcome that supports Overture’s mission and future and strengthens ties with the communities we serve.”

Patterson and Redington will start their new positions on April 13.
