Diego Campoverde Cisneros has been named the new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Manager for Quartz, the company’s first position dedicated exclusively to carry out its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
“We are excited to promote Diego into this new role at Quartz,” said Quartz President and CEO Terry Bolz in a statement. “The creation of this new role signals Quartz’s ongoing and deep commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Diego has extensive diversity and inclusion experience and has been an active member of our Diversity and Inclusion Change Team.”
The DE&I Manager will help Quartz further build on the foundation it established to advance its diversity, equity and inclusion commitment to the next level, according to a press release. Quartz’s current Diversity and Inclusion Change Team, championed by
Campoverde Cisneros, has promoted cultural best practices based on the Equity Lens Model and advocated for companywide investments to ensure the business is representative of its communities.
Campoverde Cisneros will report to Kimila Daniels, Quartz Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. “With his leadership, Quartz will continue to move forward in our efforts to build a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture,” said Daniels in a press release. “Diego will also be involved in the work necessary to help us meet the needs of each individual in the communities we serve.”
Campoverde Cisneros has been the Senior Marketing Communications Coordinator in the Marketing Department at Quartz, as well as a member of Quartz’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Team.
