Renae Burress has been named the new vice president of diversity, equity & inclusion and talent experience at TruStage.
“Renae brings deep expertise in building inclusive, high-performing cultures across global organizations,” TruStage said in a social media post announcing her appointment.
TruStage Financial Group, Inc., formerly known as CUNA Mutual Group, is a mutual insurance company in Madison that provides financial services to cooperatives, credit unions, their members, and other customers worldwide.
Burress has earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College, an HBCU in Atlanta, and a master of science (M.S.) in labor and industrial relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, according to her LinkedIn bio. Before her job with TruStage, she was a talent engagement coordinator and a global inclusion & diversity leader for Honeywell Building Automation Division in Atlanta.
“In her new role, Renae will guide the strategy that embeds inclusion across every stage of the employee journey and supports our mission of making financial security accessible to all,” TruStage said in a social media post. “We’re thrilled to have her leadership, vision and passion on our team.”
