Thanks to a $25,000 grant from United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth-led organization in the nation, RISE Law Center will pay the $495 immigration filing fee for those who are eligible to renew their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status before the upcoming October 5 deadline.
In addition, RISE will also host pro bono workshops to provide free legal representation to ensure that everyone eligible has equal access to this immigration benefit. One will take place Thursday, October 28 from 9 am until 5 pm, and the final one is on Monday, October 2 from 9 to 5. Both will take place at the RISE office at 1245 East Washington Avenue Suite 102.
