Literacy Network’s Run For Literacy will be held Sunday, Oct. 11, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. starting at A Room of One’s Own Bookstore, 315 W Gorham St.

Join us on a beautiful fall morning for a walk or run through State Street, the Lakeshore Path, and the beautiful UW campus for the 24th annual Run for Literacy!

For more information, to volunteer, or to register to run/walk click here.

Even if you cannot volunteer or participate this year, please help us spread the word! This is one of our most important fundraising events of the year, as money raised supports programs offered to Dane County adults improving their literacy in order to find jobs, read with children and help with homework, improve computer skills, understand finances, and speak doctors about health concerns. Literacy Network’s free classes and tutoring programs help more than 1,000 adults every year!
