Sharriah Bartlett and Alan Banuelos-Perez have been awarded scholarships from the Willa Brown Aviation Academy (WBAA) 2026 Paul Alan Temple Scholarship Fund. This year, these two outstanding members of the WBAA community have been selected to receive scholarships of $2,500 each in support of their aviation education and career goals.
The Paul Alan Temple Scholarship Fund helps reduce financial barriers and expand access to aviation education for aspiring pilots, aviation professionals, and aerospace leaders and was established to honor the legacy of Paul Temple and his lifelong passion for aviation, education, and creating opportunities for future generations. The scholarship supports current and former participants in WBAA programs as they pursue aviation training, education, and career development.
Sharriah, a junior at Verona High School and Alan, a sophomore at Madison La Follette High School, were selected through a competitive application process that considered academic achievement, commitment to aviation, community involvement, and future goals within the aerospace and aviation fields.
“Sharriah and Alan represent the determination, curiosity, and leadership that the Paul Alan Temple Scholarship Fund was created to encourage,” said Sam Stanley, WBAA Scholarship Chair and Board Member, in a statement. “We are excited to support their continued journeys in aviation and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the Aviation industry and our communities.”
