We are excited to announce another moderator for the Wisconsin Leadership Summit coming up next month!
Madison alder and UW Health Vice President Shiva Bidar has agreed to lead a discussion titled “Supporting Staff of Color Beyond Your Walls: The role of business in community investment.”
Shiva has been UW Health’s Chief Diversity Officer since 2016, and recently became the first vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion just last month.
Her work has been recognized with the numerous awards over the years including 2019-20 UW Outstanding Women of Color Award, the 2018 Centro Hispano of Dane County Visionary Award and the 2018 Wisconsin LGBT Chamber Advocate of the Year.
The Summit this year is all online, so you can attend from the comfort of your home or office. It will feature 25 sessions over five days from October 5-9, all for just $79 (or less if you work for a nonprofit organization or government agency, or if you’re a student).
