On Thursday, Sept. 27, Kids Forward will honor various organizations for their work to amplify the voices of communities of color and engage African-American, Native American, and Latinx communities in advocating for policies that will make Wisconsin a more equitable state.
This year at the organization’s annual event, Kids Forward will present its “Giraffe Award” to Black Leaders Organizing for Communities (BLOC), the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters Institute’s Native Vote program, and Voces de la Frontera.
The fundraising gala will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 27 on the rooftop of Boardman & Clark law firm on Wisconsin’s Capitol Square. Come have fun and support a great cause all in one fabulous night.
