To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s adaption of Alice Walker’s seminal novel, “The Color Purple” will return to the big screen for just one day — today, February 23.
The classic film stars Whoopi Golberg, Danny Glover and Oprah Winfrey.
In Madison, it will play at Point Cinema on Big Sky Drive at 5 pm, AMC 6 on Midvale Boulevard at 1 pm and 5 pm, and Palace in Sun Prairie at 5 pm.
