The United Asian Consortium will host Asian-American Celebration Night tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Madison East High School.
Community members are invited to attend this free event and learn more about Asian culture. There will be free Asian cuisine, Asian arts and crafts, a free raffle, performances, a multicultural fashion show, a photo booth, activities and more.
The theme of this year’s Asian American Celebration Night is “Year of The Dragon.” The event aims to highlight a variety of different Asian cultures around the world, according to a press release from Madison School & Community Recreation, while also providing a learning experience for the community to engage through planned activities, performances and dinner.
The MSCR United Asian Clubs at East and La Follette High School alongside Sun Prairie East High School, West High School and Monona Grove High School’s Asian Clubs are taking the lead on organizing this family engagement night and resource fair.
