The WIAA high school football playoffs get underway on Friday night at 7 p.m. when Middleton (6-3) takes on Sun Prairie (8-1) in Sun Prairie. Sun Prairie defeated Middleton easily, 35-7, two weeks ago and is seeking to return to the state championship game and deliver the championship that slipped through their grasp last year when they were the WIAA runner-up after falling to Kimberly 27-7.
