The Wisconsin Badger football team will host Indiana in the 2020 season opener at Camp Randall Stadium on Friday, Sept. 4, the team announced today.
This will mark the fourth time in the last 10 years that UW has opened a season with a night game at Camp Randall. Wisconsin hasn’t played a Big Ten contest on a Friday recently, but the Badgers did open seasons against non-conference opponents on Friday nights from 2017-2019.
This will be the first time since 1982 that Wisconsin has started its season with a conference game. That year they opened up the season against No. 12 Michigan.
The game time and broadcast network will be announced at a later date.
