Women In Focus Inc. will commemorate four decades of impact at its 2026 WIF Scholarship Reception & 40th Anniversary Historical Luncheon at an invite-only event honoring student achievement, community leadership, and transformational philanthropy.
The luncheon will take place on Sunday, April 26, at Goodman Community Center’s Brassworks Building.
Women In Focus, Inc. is a nonprofit organization of professional women in Madison, Wisconsin, dedicated to supporting the healthy development of children of color and expanding access to higher education. Through its annual “I Have a Dream” Scholarship Ball and literacy initiatives, the organization continues to bridge opportunity gaps and empower the next generation of leaders.
Since awarding its first $50 book grant in 1986, Women In Focus has grown into one of Madison’s highest-impact scholarship organizations for students of color, recently surpassing $1 million in total funds raised and supporting more than 500 scholars across Dane County.
The anniversary reception will formally introduce this year’s class of scholarship recipients – an accomplished and diverse group of students representing high schools and colleges throughout the region.
