Hosted by the African Association of Madison, Inc., Africa Fest 2023 will take place Saturday, Aug. 19, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at McPike Park.
Africa Fest is the community’s annual celebration which educates and promotes the wonderful culture, music, dancing and food of Africa. This year is Africa Fest’s 22st anniversary and the theme is: “Faces of African Beauty II.” The event is free admission to the public. Come and enjoy great food, beverages, culture, music, and dance.
If you are looking for some morning exercise or just want to support a great cause, please consider joining us in the morning for the Strides for Africa 5K Run/Walk. The proceeds from this event help to bring clean water sources to rural communities across SubSaharan Africa.
