Alder Badri Lankella, who represents District 7 on Madison’s West Side, will host a virtual Lunch and Learn featuring the newly sworn-in Chief of Police John Patterson and West District Captain Timothy Patton from the City of Madison Police Department on Thursday, Nov. 14, noon-1 p.m.
This is a unique opportunity to hear first-hand updates on public safety and explore specific concerns impacting Madison, especially the West Side.
“Join us to gain valuable insights into community policing initiatives and discover how you can actively engage with the police department. Our speakers will delve into vital traffic safety initiatives, focusing on school zones and addressing prevalent issues such as speeding in neighborhoods,” the City of Madison said in a press release. “Additionally, they will share exciting upcoming outreach and engagement plans from the Madison Police Department designed to strengthen community ties.”
