Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball coach Marisa Moseley has received a five-year extension through May 31, 2028, UW Athletics announced on Friday.
Moseley just finished her second season as head coach, after being hired in March 2021. The Badgers finished with a record of 11-20 this year including six Big Ten wins, their most since the 2010-11 season which was the last time the UW women’s basketball program had a winning season.
The UW Athletic Board also approved extending Badgers men’s basketball coach Greg Gard’s five-year agreement through May 31, 2028; swimming and diving head coach Yuri Suguiyama’s five-year agreement through May 31, 2028; women’s hockey head coach Mark Johnson’s five-year agreement through June 30, 2028; and wrestling head coach Chris Bono’s five-year agreement through May 31, 2028.
