The University of Wisconsin Badgers have hired longtime NFL executive Morocco Brown as the next general manager of its football program, ESPN’s Pete Thamel is reporting.

Brown will take the position of former Badgers football general manager Marcus Sedberry who has stepped into the role of interim athletic director after the departure of Chris McIntosh.

Brown spent eight seasons in the front office for the Indianapolis Colts as well as time with the Cleveland Browns and the Chicago Bears. His last role in Indianapolis was Chief Personnel Executive.
