The Milwaukee Bucks earned the top seed in the Eastern Conference knockout round of the NBA’s inaugural In-Season Tournament with a 131-124 win over the Miami Heat in Miami.
The Bucks went 4-0 in Group B, with previous wins over the New York Knicks, Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards.
Also advancing to the quarterfinals from the Eastern Conference are Group A winners Indiana Pacers and Group C winners Boston Celtics. The Knicks get the wild card spot with a 3-1 record and +42 point differential.
The quarterfinals are set for Monday and Tuesday of next week, with the semifinals on Thursday and final on Saturday, December 9. The Bucks will host the Knicks in the quarterfinal, with the date and time to be announced. The semifinals and final will take place in Las Vegas.
