On Tuesday, Dec. 1, the Madison Path to Citizenship is hosting free Citizenship Fair for lawful permanent residents who want to become U.S. citizens. The Citizenship Fair will be held at the Catholic Multicultural Center, 1862 Beld Street.

“The Citizenship Fair is for lawful permanent residents who want to become U.S. citizens and need help identifying the path to citizenship or services in Dane County that can help you prepare for the U.S. citizenship exam and/or to file necessary forms. If you have questions about becoming a U.S. citizen, please come on December 1 to find your answers!” said Laurie Greenberg, event organizer and Coordinator of the Madison Path to Citizenship.”

The Citizenship Fair will offer multiple stations for: establishing eligibility for U.S. citizenship, the N-400 application form, upcoming English as a Second Language (ESL) Civics Classes, fee waivers, and much more.

This free event is sponsored by Madison Path to Citizenship, a coalition of Dane County organizations: Catholic Multicultural Center, Centro Hispano, Jewish Social Services of Madison, Latino Academy of Workforce Development, Latino Education Council, Inc., University of Wisconsin Extension, and University of Wisconsin-Madison Continuing Studies.
