
Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne will have competition for his position in an upcoming August election, and it will somebody from within his own office.
Former Kenosha County District Attorney Bob Jambois has announced Tuesday that he is running for Ozanne’s job. Jambois has worked as an assistant district attorney in Dane County for the past year.
“I am running for District Attorney because the people of Dane County deserve to have a choice on August 9, 2016,” Jambois wrote in a news release. “The people of Dane County also deserve a DA who shows up for work and represents their interests in Court.”
Jambois plans to officially announce his campaign today.
