Dr. Laura Laitinen-Warren to moderate solidarity panel at Northeast Wisconsin Leadership Summit

       Green Bay School Board member Laura Laitinen-Warren will moderate a panel titled “Transformative Solidarity: a panel of our Black, Indigenous, Asian and Latino leaders” at the Northeast Wisconsin Leadership Summit at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Center in Green Bay on Tuesday, May 9.

The event the first of its kind in Northeast Wisconsin, intended to gather the region’s most influential people of color and allies for professional development, networking and community building. We’ll have more than a dozen panel discussions on business, leadership, education and much more!

Dr. Laitinen-Warren is currently serving on the Board of Education for the Green Bay Area Public School district and is the Training & Development Director for the Oneida Nation Human Resources department. A member of the Oneida Nation, Dr. Laitinen-Warren has over 25 years of experience working in Indian Country in a variety of leadership positions from Oneida Casino’s gaming industry, tribal government, and human resources.

In addition to a bachelor’s degree in social welfare, and a master’s degree in educational leadership, she also has a Professional Certification in Human Resources (PHR) and recently earned her doctorate of philosophy in Leadership Studies. Laitinen-Warren is passionate about identity and leadership and has begun writing a book based on her dissertation research which explored how the racial identity and lived experiences of multiracial leaders influenced their leadership.
